TERMINAL SAFETY & SECURITY REGULATIONS

Do's:

1. Comply with all signs and wear safety gear.

2. Obtain permission before entering the port area.

3. Adhere to a speed limit of 20 km/hr within the terminal.

4. Drivers must follow traffic rules and not leave vehicles without permission.

5. Avoid working or driving under the influence, no smoking or sleeping at the workplace.

6. Wear seat belts while driving four-wheelers.

7. Prevent physical contact with moving machinery and ensure machine guarding.

8. Report any information affecting port or shipping security promptly.

9. Familiarize yourself with emergency assembly points (Refer site map).

Don'ts:

1. No food in Wharf and Yard.

2. Avoid mobile phone use while driving and in operational areas.

3. Stay clear of RTG & QC’s gantry path for standing, sleeping, or sitting.

4. Avoid haphazard parking in gantry paths.

5. Do not litter in the yard.

6. Stay out of declared restricted areas marked by warning signs.

7. No parking on RTG & QC’s gantry path and operations areas.

8. Use internal shuttle van/car; no pedestrians allowed in PSA Chennai premises.

9. Photography and video recording without permission are prohibited.
